Key Staff


Nick Burkholder

Nick is the founder and President of eConnect. He is an expert on missions, objectives, metrics, feedback and connecting with constituencies. Nick routinely speaks and writes about optimizing performance and over 3,900 organizations worldwide have purchased his research at least three times. He has successfully completed over 300 consulting engagements and worked for organizations including the Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Family of Companies and The Vanguard Group of Investment Companies. Before beginning his business career, Nick was a Army officer.

A graduate of Lafayette College and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, Nick co-authored "The Executive Career Guide" for MBAs with Richard H. Beatty and edited "On Staffing, Advice and Perspectives from HR Leaders". He also wrote "Outsourcing: The Definitive View, Applications & Implications" and co-authored "Ultimate Performance: Measuring Human Resources at Work" with Scott Golas and Jeremy Shapiro. He is currently writing "Everyone a Star" and a book on feedback. All of his books are published by John Wiley & Sons.

Nick greatly enjoys and learns from grandchildren Heidi, Maggie, Ollie and Jehu and dogs, particularly a German Shepherd named Scratch.

Barry Snader

Barry leads affiliate development for and is always prepared to go to the mat on behalf of the organizations and people with whom he works.

He can also be found on or at the edge of mats when he’s not working. Barry has been involved in Judo for over 40 years and is a 4th degree black belt.
He is on the Shufu Yudanshakai, the governing body for judo in the Middle Atlantic States, Board of Directors and Board of Examiners and a founding
member of the Standards and Ethics Committee. Barry is the former Chairman of the Junior Competitor Development Committee and has coached at
the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. And he coached five national judo champions in 12 years.

Barry is the 1988 Heavyweight National Masters Champion, a 1992 and 2006 a Heavyweight National Master’s Bronze Medalist and a 2006 Open Weight
Class Master’s National Bronze Medalist and 12 time Gold Medalist Pennsylvania State Champion in five weight classes.

He also spent 12 years training dogs for the United Disability Service Dog Program.

And although Barry is devoted to judo, dogs, other community service and family, he takes his work just as seriously and has over 30 years of documented
sales accomplishments.
